Start the AgentRQ backend (make backend) and attempt the MCP initialize handshake on the Supervisor/CoreMCP endpoint http://localhost:3000/mcp. The handshake returned 401 unauthorized with an OAuth2 (Google) challenge, so no MCP tools were listed.

Ran the README's documented 'help' command of the pinned @agentrq/agentrq-ws CLI (cli/agentrq-ws/bin/agentrq-ws.js help) on Node v20.20.2; exit 0, prints usage and the command list.

Found no node/npm on the VM (earlier run's Node 18.19.1 from Ubuntu apt is not present now). Installed xz-utils via apt-get (prerequisite to unpack the tarball).
Downloaded node-v20.20.2-linux-x64.tar.xz from nodejs.org (reachable via the configured proxy) and unpacked to /opt/node20; symlinked node, npm, npx into /usr/local/bin to satisfy engines node >=20.6.0.
cd cli/agentrq-ws && node bin/agentrq-ws.js help -> exit 0 (operation).
node cli/agentrq-ws/bin/agentrq-ws.js workspace -> exit 1, 'no .mcp.json found' (credentials prerequisite evidence).
Wrote .coldpass/probe.json (cli, argv node cli/agentrq-ws/bin/agentrq-ws.js help, cwd /workspace).
